Ark-Shelter recently expanded her activities and started a division that focuses exclusively on the care department, emphasizing care, quality, and independence.
All applications contain the Ark-Shelter DNA and are developed according to the desires and specific needs of its users; mobile informal care homes for elderly or people with a disability, nursing homes, day cares, social projects and many more possibilities.
Our mobile informal care homes are ideal for people with a need for assistance, but a desire for independence. Care-Shelters are durable, reliable, ecological and can easily be moved.
This way the dwelling can grow, shrink, or serve as a guestroom, garden office or hobby space in the future. It can even be moved and become a holiday home.
Our 3 standard models are equipped with all modern comfort and designed according to our experience and expertise. But what we love most, is to develop a tailormade solution; that complies with the user’s needs and desires. This way you get a project that ticks all the boxes and has the exact aesthetics you are looking for. The care giver is assured of the user’s safety and well-being through the possible integration of smart solutions, whether they are present or away.
Professional healthcare companies can sometimes be confronted with the limitations of their infrastructure, which cannot be easily expanded or adapted.
We have a desire to make their capacity flexible. Our solutions can serve them temporarily, while they renovate their existing infrastructure, or permanently, as a quick and qualitative expansion or even an entire dedicated stand-alone centre. We have cooperated with hospitals, nursing homes, day cares, social housing projects and many more in the past.

This mobile care residence of 26 sqm has been developed to support elders and people with a disability in retaining their independence. The living space gives them a place for rest where they can enjoy well-deserved privacy.
Medium series
This compact, mobile care shelter of 40 sqm is fully equipped to support and improve the independence of the elderly and people with disabilities. It also helps enable them to effectively rely on their caregivers when necessary.
Large series
This mobile care shelter of 48 sqm is fully equipped to support and improve the independence of the elderly and people with disabilities. It also helps enable them to effectively rely on their caregivers when necessary.
